See how it works
A quick look at running an anonymous wellbeing survey with your team, from setup to results.
Why most staff wellbeing surveys tell you nothing
People do not tell you the truth when they think you will know who said it.
You send the survey. Back come a set of politely positive scores, a couple of vague comments, and no idea what to do next. Nothing honest was ever said, so nothing changes.
Most tools quietly undermine the promise they are selling. They chase the people who have not responded yet, which means they know exactly who those people are. They let you filter results down to a team of three. Several of them charge extra to switch anonymity on at all.
Workplace Lens is built the other way round. Anonymity is not a setting. It is what the product is made of.
How it works
Three steps. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes to set up.
Pick a survey
One on wellbeing, one on how your team feels about being managed, and a one-question weekly check-in. Read every question before you send anything.
Share the link
Your team answers anonymously. No name, no email, no login. Nothing is stored that could trace an answer back to a person.
See what they said
Once three people have answered, you get the overall score, a breakdown by category, and the comments exactly as they were written.
Anonymity you can actually check
This is the bit worth reading properly. It is the reason people answer honestly.
Nothing stored against a response
No name, no email, no login, no IP address. There is no field in the data that links an answer to a person.
Nothing shows below three responses
Not a score, not an average, not a comment. Not for you, and not for us. It is enforced in the product, not a setting.
Small teams protected further
Below five responses the individual counts are held back too, so nobody can work backwards from the percentages.
Reminders go to everyone
Because the system genuinely cannot tell who has responded. It is the clearest proof there is that the anonymity is real.
What comes back
An overall score, six categories, and the comments word for word.
You see which category is dragging the rest down, and you see what people actually wrote about it. Then run it again in a couple of months, and you can see what has moved and whether the thing you changed made any difference at all.

What it costs
Most survey tools charge per person, with a minimum. Several will not sell to a team of eight at all.

For comparison, a hundred-person organisation typically pays four hundred pounds a month or more elsewhere. Workplace Lens is nineteen pounds flat, or nothing. Cancel any time.

And when the results come back
A survey tells you what is wrong. It does not fix it.
Loving Life is a workplace wellbeing company. We run workshops on stress, resilience, motivation, team communication and leadership, for organisations including Fujitsu, the NHS, Lionsgate and UNICEF UK. We built Workplace Lens because we kept meeting managers who knew something was off and could not put their finger on it.
So if your results come back and stress is the weak category, or people do not feel supported, that is a conversation we can actually have. No software company can say that.
Common questions
Is the wellbeing survey really anonymous?
Yes, and it is built into the data rather than promised in the marketing. Responses are stored with no name, email, login or IP address, and nothing in the data model links a response to the person who sent it. Results stay locked until at least three people have answered, and below five the individual score counts are held back as well.
Is it free?
Creating surveys, sharing them, collecting responses, reading the results and downloading reports are all free, with no card and no trial period. The only paid part is Automation at nineteen pounds a month, which sends the surveys and reminders on a schedule for you.
How many people do I need on my team?
At least three have to respond before any results appear, because below that a small team stops being anonymous. There is no minimum number of licences to buy and no sales call.
What questions does the wellbeing survey ask?
The wellbeing survey covers work-life balance, job satisfaction, stress and resilience, team communication, growth and development, and mental wellbeing. There is also a management survey, which asks how your team feels about being managed, and a one-question weekly Wellbeing Pulse. You can read every question before you send anything.
Can I see who said what?
No. Neither can we. Comments are shown word for word with no name and no timestamp, and scores only ever appear blended into a team average. In a very small team a distinctive comment could in principle be recognised, which is why we ask people not to include identifying details.
How often should I run it?
Every month or two suits most teams. Run it too often and people stop answering. Leave it too long and you cannot tell whether anything you changed made a difference. The weekly Wellbeing Pulse exists for teams that want a lighter, more frequent signal.
