What Others Are Saying

Don't just take our word for it, see what other clients have to say!

Highly recommend Tyler at Loving Life for anyone with muscle aches and pains. I've been to a number of Chiro and Physics over the past 8 years and Tyler stands out as the best. Both my wife and I work desk jobs and regularly have knots and muscle aches in the upper back, neck and shoulders. We're now regular customers of Tylers'. He provides an excellent service for a good price. Very friendly bloke too!

No matter how late or how early it is in the day, Tyler always has a chirpy attitude and a smile on his face. I’ve been going to Tyler for about a year now for tendinitis related problems from boxing training. His massages have helped relieve the tension in my arms and his advice on aftercare has prevented further injury. I’m very fortunate to have found him as my sports therapist and would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Highly recommend Loving Life's services! I've been struggling with a wrist injury for several months now and was just persevering through the pain. One session with Tyler and it already feels so much better. Barely any pain and range of movement is almost back to normal. Just wish I'd gone to them sooner now!

What Is A Sports Massage?

Sports massage is a type of therapy which uses the combination of Deep tissue massage and Swedish massage to combat the effects of tight muscles and muscular tension.

It is a technique that was first used on athletes to help decrease the tightness’s caused by intense exercise. It was a relatively unknown alternative therapy until the 1972 Olympics where Finnish track and field athlete Lasse Virén claimed deep friction massage (One of the techniques used) helped him win both the 5,000 and 10,000 meter events.

One of the main aims of sports massage is to ease stiffness and pain. This is something that generally occurs after an intense workout. However, this is not the only circumstance of which individuals get stiffness or muscular related pain.

Sitting for long periods of time, poor posture, injury and inactivity are also other contributing factors that can cause this.
